It is an undeniable fact that computers have transformed the way we live and work, being used in everything from businesses and healthcare to education and space research. It is expected that this tendency will continue, with computers forecasted to play a progressively bigger role in the future. Nonetheless, there are major worries on how to strike an equilibrium between the advantages of computers and the risks associated with their use, given human’s growing reliance on them.

To commence with, in the long run, desktops are prepared to penetrate almost every aspect of human’s lives, playing a central role in advanced artificial intelligence, automated transportation systems, personalized medicine, sustainable energy and the exploration of space. Down the lane, these technological advances will reshape industries and improve quality of life.

Conversely, reliance on computers has its disadvantages. One of the most pressing concerns is cybersecurity. To justify, with increase in human’s dependence on interconnected systems, they become increasingly vulnerable to cyberattacks and data breaches. This threat to data security, privacy and national security highlights the cruciality of strong cybersecurity measures.

Another issue is dismissal from jobs owing to automation and artificial intelligence. To elaborate, as computers take on more tasks, there is a justifiable apprehension of unemployment and potential chaos of traditional employment structures. This shift requires a focus on competency enhancement and upskilling the workforce to remain competitive in a changing job market.

To recapitulate from the above discourse of discussion, while increasing dependence on computers offers undeniable benefits in terms of efficiency, innovation and connectivity, there are valid reasons to be cautious, especially when it comes to cybersecurity, job loss and privacy.
