Write a letter to the manager of the Lost and Found department of the railway regarding the luggage you accidentally left on the train.
In your letter:- Give the details of your train trip
- Describe the luggage you left on the train
- Say what actions you want him/her to take.
Sample Answer:
Dear Sir,
I am writing to inform you regarding something really important that I unintentionally left on one of your trains.
My name is Samantha Jackson. On 1st November, I took ‘The Canadian’ from Toronto to Vancouver. Regretfully, while disembarking, I unintentionally forgot my handbag on the seat. My train number is VIA Rail Train 1 (westbound) and VIA Rail Train 2 (eastbound).
The bag I left on the train is a black Micheal Kors Tote Bag that has a smooth leather finish with many pockets. There is also a key chain of my name on one of the zippers. There are various personal belongings within, such as my driver’s license, identity card, and my wallet. To help you identify the suitcase, I have attached a picture of it along with the letter.
